Kristin Bunge, MA
I am beyond excited and humbled to be working in the mental health field alongside my gifted and welcoming Riverstone colleagues. I enjoy talking with people and getting to know my clients and believe that each one of us has something amazing to offer the world. As a new therapist, I am learning and growing daily, while leaning towards a person-centered approach. I integrate other theories and schools of thought into my work, such as cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral approaches. I just recently obtained my master’s degree in counseling and psychological services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in May 2019. I recently finished a 700-hour practicum experience working with children and adolescents in an intensive outpatient setting at PrairieCare Medical Group-Southern Minnesota. I received my bachelor of arts’ degree in psychology from Augsburg University in 2012.
I am currently working as a Master’s Level Clinical Trainee, under the supervision of Jami Hoxmeier, Ph.D., LP in pursuit of becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with adolescents and adults who face a variety of struggles. I am currently seeing clients individually and as part of one of our DBT programs. I am genuinely looking forward to working together with clients here at Riverstone!
