Professional Philosophy
I am committed to helping people grow, gain awareness, live healthy lives, and take action to achieve their goals. My integrative approach combines Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and cognitive-behavior therapy with a person-centered perspective. I also have the ability to incorporate yoga, mindfulness, spirituality, and wellness into therapy.
My previous professional experiences include teaching DBT groups, working with adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders as a mental health practitioner, helping families as an in-home counselor, and supporting adolescents in day treatment and residential treatment.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with clients individually and co-facilitate Riverstone’s adult, adolescent, and graduate DBT groups. I am a member of our state certified DBT team and EMDR-trained.
